Guided tours of Clifden’s craft brewery in the heart of Connemara’s capital

In September, October and November tours of Bridewell Brewery are available for pre-booked guests only on Thursdays at 11am.
The 45 minute tour includes meeting one of the brewers, hearing the story of the brewery, the history of the brewery’s name and the stories behind each beer. The tour visits the keg room, malt room, brew house and fermentation room in the brewery.
The tour does not include a beer tasting due to licensing restrictions. The tour ticket price is €10 per person. Pre-booking is required at least one day in advance as places are limited.

Bridewell Brewery is joining with over thirty other independent Irish craft breweries around the country to celebrate Indie Beer Week 2019.
This year we are spreading the word about the Independent Irish Craft Beer logo that appears on all beer bottles and cans produced by these independent Irish craft breweries.

Originally established to promote the excellence of the mussels of Killary Harbour, Connemara Mussel Festival has grown to become a celebration of local people, food, culture and heritage. Connemara Mussel Festival 2018

2018 is the 13th year the festival will be held in Tully Cross on the Renvyle Penninsula. This is a weekend packed full of activities to look forward to on the May Bank Holiday weekend, there’s something to to suit everyone.
